New XF
The brand-new generation of Superior XF pushes the boundaries of full-suspension mountain bikes to a new level. The core of this success is the innovative XF frame, developed in Kopřivnice and produced in Portugal. The frame underwent rigorous testing at Germany’s EFBe laboratory and has been thoroughly proven by our teams at the World Cup, Cape Epic, and ambassadors such as Jaroslav Kulhavý and Filip Adel.Development and Design
The XF frame was developed in Kopřivnice by a team led by Martin Haman. His extensive experience enabled the creation of a frame that can compete with the best on the market. From initial sketches to the final prototype, the intensive development took about two years and included collaboration with the jb BRUNEX Superior Factory Racing team.
Modern Frame Geometry
Superior XF frame geometry emphasizes stability, handling, and peak performance:

Slacker head angle: Enhances stability at high speeds and technical descents, providing greater confidence and control.

Longer top tube: Designed for shorter stems (60–90 mm), delivering an optimal balance of stability and handling necessary for aggressive trail riding.

Lower stack: Maintains optimal weight distribution between the front and rear wheels, enhancing climbing traction and descending control.

Shorter chainstays: Ensures increased agility, quicker directional changes, and better acceleration.

Aluminum XF models share key parameters with carbon models, bringing premium performance closer to a wider range of riders.
Design and Integration
The XF frame design combines clean lines and lightweight construction. The new frame features improved internal cable routing, and the highest XF 9.9 TEAM model achieves 100% integration thanks to our own developed carbon handlebar-stem combo. The frame offers room for two water bottles (including size S). Special attention has been given to thorough frame protection to ensure durability – main pivot protection, lightweight but robust chainstay protection, and protective films covering the most exposed frame areas. All main pivots use high-quality industrial bearings, reducing maintenance needs and extending service intervals.
