The Superior MTB Team riders are preparing themselves for a pretty decent amount of race kilometres this spring. The start of the demanding Cape Epic is approaching, and there is no time for hanging about. That’s why they are fully in training. Filip Adel spent some time riding with his teammates on Mallorca. Tomáš Višňovský, his Slovakian colleague who will be riding with him at the famous Cape Epic in spring, has chosen to prepare at home in Slovakia, not only cycling, but competing in skimo races, too.

Barbora Průdková and her brother Matěj, also from the Superior MTB Team, haven’t been idle through the winter, either, and after preparing on snow, they flew to Mallorca to gobble up the necessary kilometres.

On the other hand, Hanna Klein of Germany chose a different approach, and has been enjoying winter fun. She won’t ride her first important races until the end of April, which is why she has stayed at home in Freiburg and mixed cross-country skiing and riding her new TEAM XF29 ISSUE on snow.

Rita Malinkiewicz and Gabi Wojtyla, the Polish ladies in the Superior GOOD MTB Team, have a varied programme. After the bike season ended, both girls and their teammate, Stanislaw Nowak, switched to XRoads, and succeeded in several cyclocross races, including the Polish championships. Besides that, they have common training camps in the Polish Tatras and the Beskids, where Sebastian Zabinski, their coach, leaves them literally breathless and keeps them working hard.

Thanks to the favourable weather, our Danish team, Superior Danmark, can spend nearly all year on their bikes. The same applies to this winter, too. The team has been riding on our Team models over the flat lands and forests of Denmark, getting ready for the next biking season in Scandinavia.

Svaťa Božák, the ultramarathon biker, spends long hours pedalling at home, heating turned up to the maximum. Why, you ask? He wants to get used to the extreme temperatures that are expected during this year’s RACE ACROSS AMERICA, a 4,800 kilometre-long non-stop race that he will be riding in June. Probably none of us can imagine themselves sitting on a stationary bike for nearly eight hours, which is exactly what Svaťa does, motivated by the extreme adventure in the USA that awaits him this year.

And what about our SupRiders? They’re in the saddle whenever possible so that the summer bike races are even more enjoyable for them!

In short: Everyone is working very hard so that the #alwaysrace2017 season is a huge success!
