Epic Mediterranean Epic

LET'S START AT THE BEGINNING.

Mediterranean Epic 2021 started the first UCI stage in sunny Oropesa del Mar on March 25th. Our team traveled there consisting of Joe Broder - owner and team boss, Joanna Schöntal - team mechanic and three great riders - Ramona Forchini, Nina Benz and Kim Ames.

We are very happy to say, that jb BRUNEX Superior Factory Racing team already succeeded in the first stage! Ramona Forchini finished in a great 2nd place, Nina Benz took a great 5th place and Kim Ames took a nice 9th place.

But that was just the beginning, the girls were waiting for three more races.

COULD IT BE EVEN BETTER?

Our Superior bikes - Team XF 29 Issue R in team specification appeared on the stage twice. Nina Benz took spectacular 2nd place in tough conditions and great competition in the company of Ramona Forchini, which finished third. Kim kept 9th place in the second stage as well.

The team is in the middle of the race and we are already happy with three medals. That’s what we call #AlwaysRace philosophy.

GOLDEN STAGE AT MEDITERRANEAN EPIC.

After two very successful stages, we were looking forward to the start of the third stage. The second half of the race started and our girls did great again. Ramona fought hard and took the top rank. 😊 Nina finished 7th ahead of Kim, who improved to 8th place compared to the first and second stages.

RAMONA WINS WITH HER SUPERIOR AND CELEBRATES HATTRICK!

The fourth and last stage of the Mediterranean Epic was challenging but still brought the dream results. Ramona finished in 5th place, which was enough for her overall 1st place! Congratulations! We are happy that she is racing so well on our #Superior Bike Team XF 29 Issue R. Did you notice that she was already riding her custom-paint champions bike?

Nina finished 6th in the fourth stage and fifth overall. Kim took the 9th position, which also guaranteed her 9th place overall.
